About — Siba Panda

I didn’t begin in boardrooms or venture capital. I grew up around family-led businesses in textiles and food—where business was not theory, but daily reality.

Inventory, cash cycles, supplier relationships, and uncertainty were not concepts; they were lived experiences.

Journey

Businesses don’t fail because of lack of ideas. They fail because of lack of structure.

With limited resources, I funded my education by teaching, building discipline and problem-solving early on. Over time, I pursued Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretary qualifications, followed by advanced business education, not as credentials—but as tools to understand how businesses scale.

This journey—from ground-level operations to structured finance—continues to define how I think, build, and operate today.

Professional Career

Over the last two decades, I have worked across corporates, investment platforms, and founder-led businesses, building a cross-functional perspective on how companies grow.

Fund Management

Venture debt and fund management with ~$400M AUM, delivering consistent performance.

Cross-Border Expansion

Cross-border expansion across India, GCC, and Asia-Pacific markets.

Capital & M&A

M&A, JV structuring, and capital raising across fintech, apparel, telecom, publishing, and infra.

Scale & Turnarounds

Business turnarounds and scale-ups, improving profitability, governance, and operational efficiency.

Key Execution Initiatives

  • Scaling financial platforms to ₹500 Cr+ AUM within a year
  • Structuring large-scale debt syndications and capital programs
  • Expanding businesses into international markets including UAE and Saudi Arabia
  • Managing portfolios of 90+ companies with disciplined capital deployment

Across roles, the focus has remained consistent:

Build clarity in complexity. Structure for scale. Execute with discipline.

I don’t operate as a conventional advisor.
I work as a systems-driven operator, bringing together:

  • Fundraising, venture debt, and cross-border capital flows
  • IPO readiness, exits, and institutional structuring

Business + Execution

  • Turning around underperforming businesses
  • Building scalable financial and operational systems
  • Aligning growth with profitability

Cross-Border Thinking

  • India–GCC market access and expansion
  • Supply chain, distribution, and capital integration

Governance + Discipline

  • Multi-jurisdiction regulatory expertise (India, GCC, global)
  • Strong focus on compliance, reporting & investor alignment

Current Focus

Today, my work sits at the intersection of building and enabling businesses.

Indizign

Building and scaling manufacturing-led platforms across textiles, food, and core sectors, with a strong India-to-global lens.

Alongside, I engage selectively with founders, investors, and businesses where I can contribute meaningfully to capital strategy, structuring, and long-term scale.

Approach

  • Systems over hustle
  • Capital with discipline
  • Scale with structure
  • Build from India, for the world

Closing

“I work with a limited number of businesses and opportunities.”

Not to advise from the outside—but to help build what can sustain, scale, and last.
