About — Siba Panda
I didn’t begin in boardrooms or venture capital. I grew up around family-led businesses in textiles and food—where business was not theory, but daily reality.
Inventory, cash cycles, supplier relationships, and uncertainty were not concepts; they were lived experiences.
Journey
Businesses don’t fail because of lack of ideas. They fail because of lack of structure.
With limited resources, I funded my education by teaching, building discipline and problem-solving early on. Over time, I pursued Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretary qualifications, followed by advanced business education, not as credentials—but as tools to understand how businesses scale.
This journey—from ground-level operations to structured finance—continues to define how I think, build, and operate today.
Professional Career
Over the last two decades, I have worked across corporates, investment platforms, and founder-led businesses, building a cross-functional perspective on how companies grow.
Venture debt and fund management with ~$400M AUM, delivering consistent performance.
Cross-border expansion across India, GCC, and Asia-Pacific markets.
M&A, JV structuring, and capital raising across fintech, apparel, telecom, publishing, and infra.
Business turnarounds and scale-ups, improving profitability, governance, and operational efficiency.
Key Execution Initiatives
- Scaling financial platforms to ₹500 Cr+ AUM within a year
- Structuring large-scale debt syndications and capital programs
- Expanding businesses into international markets including UAE and Saudi Arabia
- Managing portfolios of 90+ companies with disciplined capital deployment
Across roles, the focus has remained consistent:
Build clarity in complexity. Structure for scale. Execute with discipline.
